Under direct supervision of the Parks, Recreation and Golf Director, promotes the City of Delta by preserving and enhancing our community while supporting all areas of marketing Successful candidate will organize and coordinate a variety of new and existing City special events; facilitate citywide marketing and branding efforts; research demands for the City's products and services; provide short and longterm market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection analysis and interpretation of market data; facilitate competitor research; manage the City's website and social media; and serve as a Public Information Officer (PI0). Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Tourism, Graphic Design or related field from an accredited college preferred, and two (2) years of work experience in marketing, customer service, tourism relations or related field.
