CITY OF DELTA EST. 1882 CITY OF DELTA CHARTER COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS The Delta City Council is preparing to make an appointment for vacancy in the Charter Commission. The Charter Commission is reviewing the current Charter for the City of Delta and will present a proposed amended Charter to the voters. The appointment may be up to one year. Charter Commission members must meet the following criteria: must be a U. S. citizen; must be at least 18 years of age on the date of the election; must have resided continuously in the City of Delta for a period of at least twelve consecutive months prior to their election; or if recently annexed, must have resided within the territory annexed for the prescribed twelve consecutive months; must be a registered elector. Persons interested in serving on the Commission are asked to submit their application to the City Clerk, 360 Main Street, Delta, Colorado, 81416 by 4:30pm on Friday, June 27, 2024.
