Lightworks Construction Laborer Fiber & Consulting Job Description: The Telecom Construction Laborer or Fiber Optic Technician - installs, operates, maintains and repairs telecommunication networks for internet, television, telephone services and data centers. This is an entry level position with on-the-job training in the line of Fiber Optic Telecommunications. This position involves learning to operate specialized equipment, learning to prep, install and terminate fiber telecom cables, various manual labor among other duties. This is an entry level position and does not require Fiber Optic experience - the ideal candidate would have some form of construction experience/background. ***Valid US Driver's license REQUIRED Class A CDL a PLUS!! *** Starting pay - $18.00-25.00/hour depending on experience Travel Required! Full time position with full benefits! Job Requirements: Valid US Driver's license (MVR record requirement for employment) Lift and carry up to 70 lbs. Willing to travel out of town or out of state to job sites Willing to work either a Mon-Friday or 1 week on 1 week off (7 days on 7 days off) schedule.
