DISABILITY BENEFITS CASE MANAGERS POSITIONS IN GRAND JUNCTION & MONTROSE Center for Independence (CFI) is seeking 3 experienced disability case managers for people with disabilities to achieve or maintain independent living in the Center FOR community. 2 positions will be in Grand Junction and 1 in Montrose. 501(c)(3) Independence nonprofit The primary role is to assist with benefits counseling, working on access to other agencies for support, and advocacy for full inclusion in the community. Other case tasks are included for cross training such as working with youth or seniors, assistive technology, housing location assistance, vocational guidance, and civil rights under the ADA and EEOC. Bachelor degree in a human services field or four years of increasingly responsible related experience, or any equivalent combination of related coursework and experience. Lived experience as a person with a disability is also considered equivalent experience. On-the-job training available for the right person. Full-time position with benefits.
