Senior Community Care CO PACE Outstanding Service Awards Senior Community Care of Colorado (SCCCO) PACE is pleased to announce the newest awardees of the SCCCO PACE Outstanding Service Awards. PACE staff were given the opportunity to nominate their peers in five categories: Teamwork, Customer Service, Mission Focus, Innovation, and Leadership based on the SCCCO fundamentals. They also had to share a specific example and the impact of the co-worker on participants and co-workers. SCCCO is pleased to announce three SCCCO PACE employees who have received one of the service awards. We congratulate the following recipients: Melody Marta, Eligibility Specialist, Debbie Brown, C.N.A., and Theresa Baca, Nursing Secretary. The purpose of these awards is to support and recognize employees for their exceptional performance, dedication, and contribution to the SCCCO PACE organization, mission, peers, participants, and community. Overall, the service awards motivate individuals and our team while promoting a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and employee engagement within the organization and community. The Outstanding Teamwork Service Award went to Debbie Brown, C.N.A. in Montrose. Debbie exemplifies the SCCCO fundamentals of "Bring It" Everyday, Assume Positive Intent, Find a Way, Walk in My Participants' Shoes and Work Smart. Debbie consistently comes in every day. with a positive attitude, always checking to make sure everything is ready for the day. She never complains about the work she does and she treats all participants with dignity and respect. Debbie is always ready to help when needed no matter what the circumstance. She is what PACE is all about. Congratulations Debbie! The Customer Service Outstanding Award went to Melody Marta, Eligibility Specialist. Melody embraces the fundamentals of Care for the "Whole Person, Deliver Legendary Experiences, Do the Right Thing in the Right Way. Always Find a Way, and Make Quality Personal. Melody puts the needs and satisfaction of our participants first. She displays genuine empathy and compassion towards participants and is proactive in resolving participant concerns. Melody has worn many hats within the SCCCO organization and has taken on challenges with professionalism and a positive attitude. Congratulations Melody! Theresa Baca, Nursing Secretary in Eckert, was awarded the Mission Focus Outstanding Service Award. The fundamentals Theresa embodies are Do the Right Thing For the Right Reason in the Right Way, Always Focus on Our Purpose, Think Safe, Work Safe, and Work Smart. She goes above and beyond for the participants, ensuring they have the right care in the appropriate amount of time. She works smart, using her time very efficiently and effectively. She focuses on the purpose of our mission, adapting to change and implementing these changes to work safe. She is always thinking of our participants and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly to provide the best care to our participants and the mission of PACE.
