Montrose County Public Health and Peak Professionals Stand Up Mass COVID-19 Booster Clinic PEAK Professionals OLORADO Montrose County Public Health and Peak Professionals are partnering to temporarily open a mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic open on Friday Nov. 12 and Saturday Nov 13. Both booster doses and first-doses of Moderna and Johnson and Johnson will be offered. COVID-19 vaccine booster doses are now available for people 65 years and older, residents in long-term care settings, people aged 18-64 years with underlying medical conditions, and people aged 18-64 years who are increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of where they work or live. Booster doses are also recommended for anyone age 18 and older who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The clinic will be open from 9am to 4pm each day and appointments are required. Appointments are now available at montrosecountyjic.com/vaccination or you can call 970-252-4545 and press option 1 to schedule over the phone. Public health staffers will begin calling previous vaccine recipients next week to assist in scheduling efforts.
