Debbie Reed I have written many times... ...about my Dad, whose birthday was July 3rd. He was a 20 year old Marine at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. My brother and I were true Marine Corps "brats", traveling back and forth across country from base to base. When my Dad retired from the military, I was entering the 10th grade, which was the 7th school I had attended! We made new friends at the beginning of the summer and then left at the end of the school year so we could make new friends before school started...wherever that was. My Mom made wherever we lived a "home", not always an easy task. From our parents we learned to be resilient and that "home" was where we were all together.
