In the midst of all of this, my Mom cruised through the room and calmly announced that if the alligator pooped on the carpet, she was going to be really upset. Kate ran for paper towels and large bandaids to sop up running blood. The alligator was released into the bayou, Grandpa's arm was bandaged, there was no poop on the carpet, and it was just another Saturday night on the bayou!
